The service

Words Duel is a free online word-guessing game. We may add, change, or remove features at any time without notice. The service is provided as-is and may be unavailable from time to time.

Your account

• You're responsible for activity on your account. Keep your PIN private.
• Pick a display name that isn't offensive, impersonating, or otherwise abusive. We may rename or remove accounts that violate this.
• One person per account. Don't share accounts or use automated tools to play.

Acceptable use

Don't use Words Duel to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots/scripts to gain an unfair advantage.
• Attempt to disrupt the service (denial of service, scraping at unreasonable rates, probing for vulnerabilities without permission, etc.).
• Break the law or infringe someone else's rights.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules.

Your content

You retain ownership of anything you submit (your display name, gameplay). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display it as needed to operate the service (e.g., showing your name on the leaderboard).

Intellectual property

The Words Duel name, look, and code are ours. Don't copy or redistribute them. "Wordle" is a trademark of The New York Times Company; Words Duel is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Disclaimers

Words Duel is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to USD $0, reflecting the fact that the service is free.

Termination

You can stop using Words Duel at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, especially if you violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
